How we help you achieve your goals

Fundamentals

The foundation of great form starts with the fundamentals of riding: foot placement on pegs, seating position, attack position,  & learning the bike controls. Starting from the ground up, we focus on each aspect at a time. It is important to create good habits and break the bad ones early in our training sessions.

Braking

Every rider has the goal of wanting to be faster on a bike. To achieve that, it is important to be able to brake correctly and have control while doing so. We focus on drills that help the rider learn all 3 brakes on a bike. Conquering braking techniques will help you drive into corners faster as well as have more control of the bike.

Throttle Control

Learning how to control the throttle can prevent you from wrecking. We work on throttle control by learning the bike's limits and observing track conditions. We work on sections of the track that offer all types of conditions such as dry, slick, muddy, deep ruts, and tacky. The goal is to keep the bike stable and controlled while carrying speed.

Jumping

We teach riders how to conquer all types of jumps and obstacles safely. Our goal is to teach the riders the correct approach when learning how to jump. We teach the rider the correct form and what to do if a jump does not go as planned. Emphasizing the importance of commitment and gaining confidence is key.

Cornering

Teaching a rider how to take a corner correctly is our main goal. We focus on drills that involve breaking down a corner into 3 different zones - each focusing on different aspects of a corner. This allows the rider to understand when to stand up, when to sit, when to brake, and when to be on the throttle.

Starts

The goal of a start is to get the holeshot. Getting a holeshot isn’t as easy as it looks! We teach riders a few different starting techniques and help them master them. We work on drills that help the rider with form, reaction time, and when to use and not to use a holeshot device.

What our Families say...

More than a coach

"There is so much to be said about Taylor. My son started working with her at the age of 5 and I was immediately blown away by her patience in working with him. She helped my son build his confidence; to go from training wheels to racing a KTM mini all in a few short months. She has instilled good riding habits right from the start. Taylor is great at personalizing her training sessions along with making them fun. She gives techniques and drills that can be practiced in any setting. My son loves working with her one-on-one and attending her camps. Taylor encourages kids and adults to do their best all while giving them the push they need to build confidence, trust, and self-discipline. Taylor has been more than just a training coach for my son, more like family to us. She truly loves giving back to the sport that gave so much to her and takes pride in all of her riders on and off the track."

professional instruction

"Taylor is fun to be around and works hard to help you get better on and off the bike. My son and I have been working with her for a couple of years at several different tracks and all types of conditions. Her bike skills are excellent and she is able to demonstrate the proper techniques in addition to giving great instructions. It always helps to see your coach correctly do what they are telling you to do. In addition, she is able to find a way to teach you individually. Her instruction is professional, on point, and delivered in an easy-to-understand manner that works with old guys like me or the younger kids that regularly smoke me. I bought my first motocross bike at 50 and learned on my own for the first 3 years. After spending time with Taylor during the last 2 years I was able to win the Alabama Outdoor series for Open D and 55+ and also the Open and Lights D in the Alabama Arenacross series. Ethan got 3rd and 4th in the same series as well. Very special that Taylor was able to help us have some terrific family time. She will make you better!"

Best Investment

"Taylor is simply amazing to put it short. Her ability to work with kids and her patience is second to none. Everyone that sees my son ride says he has the best form out of any kid, which is all thanks to Taylor. She really focuses on keeping the sport and training fun while doing drills that are constantly challenging the riders' ability to learn. I met Taylor as a complete stranger who has become family to us. If you are ever thinking about a training session; do it, because it was the best investment we made while riding to date. I cannot praise Taylor enough for what she does for the youth and for giving back to the sport that she loves dearly."
